Sun Shade, Removing and Installing, Side Window
Removing
- Remove the rear door trim panel. Refer to → Chapter "Rear Door Trim Panel, Removing and Installing".
- Remove the bolts -1 and 2-.
- Remove the sun shade from the door.
Installing
Install in reverse order of removal.
Installation notes, for example tightening specifications, replacing components. Refer to → Chapter "Overview - Sun Shade, Side Window".
Sun Shade, Removing and Installing, Rear Window
Special tools and workshop equipment required
- Trim Removal Wedge -3409-
- Omega Clip Tool -T40280-
Removing
- Remove the rear lid lower trim panel. Refer to → Chapter "Rear Lid Lower Trim Panel, Removing and Installing".
- Unclip the cover -1- with the -3409- from the sun shade in direction of -arrows- and remove.
- Remove the bolts -2 and 3-.
- Remove the sun shade -1- from the rear lid lower trim panel -arrows-.
Installing
Install in reverse order of removal.
Installation notes, for example tightening specifications, replacing components. Refer to → Chapter "Overview - Sun Shade, Rear Window".
Sun Shade Mounting Eye, Removing and Installing
Sun Shade Mounting Eye for Side Window, Removing
- Remove the screws -1- and remove the mounting eye -2- from the window frame.
Sun Shade Mounting Eye for Rear Window, Removing
- Unclip the cap with a screwdriver in direction of -arrow A- and remove the bolt behind it.
- Unhook and remove the rear window shade mounting eye -1- from the bracket in direction of -arrow B-.
Installing
Install in reverse order of removal and note the following:
